Dr. Mapula attended medical school at Saint Louis University in Saint Louis, Missouri.  After Medical School, he went on to complete his residency in General Surgery at UT Southwestern medical center in Dallas, Texas.  He then completed his Plastic Surgery training at UT Southwestern Medical Center.  Dr. Mapula is a native Texan and decided to settle in the Forth Worth area to serve his community.  His clinical interests are include reconstructive surgery, cosmetic surgery, body contouring after massive weight loss, and injectable agents for non-surgical treatment of facial aging.
